Biography
Kejuanna Owens was born on October 18, 1983, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Dr. Cherie (Lyndon) Sims and Pastor Delbert (Pam) Orr. From an early age, it was evident that God had placed a special calling on her life. She began singing at her father's church at the age of four, and her passion for music and ministry has continued to grow ever since.
A gifted vocalist and worship leader, Kejuanna has ministered through song at countless funerals, weddings, conferences, revivals, and international ministry events. Her musical journey has afforded her opportunities to audition for nationally recognized platforms including American Idol, Sunday Best, and Making the Band. Throughout her ministry and music career, she has touched lives through her heartfelt worship, powerful testimony, and unwavering faith.
Recently, Kejuanna released her debut single, It Ain't Over, a heartfelt and inspiring song dedicated to the memory and legacy of her beloved grandmother, the late Emma Owens. The song reflects her personal journey of perseverance, faith, and victory through life's challenges.
Kejuanna has been honored with The President's Lifetime Achievement Award and has received proclamations recognizing her service and impact from communities and organizations in Florida, Connecticut, and Virginia. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a Master's Degree in Business Administration, combining academic excellence with her passion for ministry, leadership, and community service.
Among her many memorable experiences, Kejuanna has had the privilege of singing before notable personalities such as BernNadette Stanis, Thelma from the classic television sitcom Good Times, and acclaimed R&B singer-songwriter Shirley Murdock.
A cancer survivor and a devoted warrior for Christ, Kejuanna's life is a testament to God's faithfulness and sustaining power. As the proud mother of four children and one of six siblings, she continues to inspire others through her music, testimony, and unwavering commitment to fulfilling God's purpose for her life.
Now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Kejuanna remains dedicated to pursuing the call of God, using her gifts, testimony, and ministry to encourage, uplift, and impact lives around the world. Her message is simple yet powerful: no matter what obstacles arise, with God, it ain't over.
